Job Summary
Plans, develops, organizes controls and monitors the district's budget; accounting and payroll services, responsible for the district's purchasing function; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel. This senior management official reports directly to the Superintendent, provides advice and recommendations, and makes reports to the Superintendent and Board of Education on matters of finance and business operations. Must be a strong leader and an exceptional communicator with the following talents: team building, collaborative management style, creativity, and vision. Must possess an in-depth knowledge of Business, Fiscal Services, Facilities Planning, Budget Development, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), risk management, collective bargaining, legislative review, and the organization and administration of the facilities, operational, and planning organization.
