The City of Torrance is recruiting for a Principal Human Resources Analyst to join our dynamic and passionate Human Resources Team! As a Principal HR Analyst, you'll play a critical role in executing Human Resource initiatives that positively impact our employees, departments, and community. The incumbent will be a member of the HR Leadership team and will play an essential role in modernizing the workflow of the City’s Benefits Administration. This position will provide operational management and effective guidance to our benefits office. This dynamic HR professional will plan and partner with City Departments to support the execution of programs and initiatives in talent acquisition, culture change, performance management, talent management and development, employee and labor relations, leaves and reasonable accommodation management, and organization effectiveness. This role will report to the HR Director and will provide both hands on strategic support and HR partnership to assigned City Departments. They will serve as a trusted advisor to City management and employees.
