Job Summary The St. Francis High School seeks a full-time Spanish Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates must demonstrate the ability and flexibility to teach any level from Spanish 1 through AP Spanish Language and Culture. These courses focus on continuing our students' access to the Spanish language and preparing them to continue Spanish in their college careers and beyond. Both spoken and written Spanish are emphasized in these courses. The ideal candidate will: Demonstrate experience working in a team setting, effectively communicating and collaborating with co-workers, parents and other stakeholders to enhance the educational experience. Enhance the students' experiences by creating a structured, respectful, disciplined and positive learning environment to promote learning. Exhibit the knowledge of the structure and content of the Spanish language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, and pronunciation. Fulfill High School’s mission and philosophy in tradition. Maintain a rich educational standard rooted in Franciscan values. Possess knowledge of Spanish principles and demonstrated ability to apply in a classroom setting.
