Job Summary
Major Duties and Responsibilities: • Diagnoses learning needs of individual pupils • Plans an appropriate instructional program to meet the diagnosed needs of each pupil • Keep accurate records of diagnosis, plans and achievements of pupils • Develops and selects appropriate teaching techniques, materials, and resources to implement IEP • Plans programs that meet requirements of District and State guidelines • Evaluate IEPs in terms of individual progress of pupils • Keep pupils, teachers, and parents informed about their individual progress within a framework of District policy • Understanding of CA Standards for the teaching profession
