Job Summary
Job Summary
Ocean Charter School (OCS) is a dynamic, caring school and community that implements a Waldorf Educational approach to teach common core standards in a public school setting. We are accepting applications for lower elementary (1st - 4th grade) teaching positions. We welcome like-minded individuals interested in creativity, imagination, and child development to apply. Ideal candidates have Waldorf teaching experience and a CA multiple subject credential, but candidates interested in learning more about public Waldorf Education are encouraged to apply. OCS teachers practice looping, where they move with their class through the grades and remain teaching the same students for multiple years. OCS offers summer training to prepare teachers for the upcoming school year as well as additional professional development opportunities, mentoring, and a supportive working environment. We are committed to equity and seek educators who are interested in exploring and/or share our passion for public Waldorf Education.
