With schools dating back to the 1870s, the award-winning Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) is now the 16th largest school district in California. RUSD educates nearly 42,000 students across 50 schools in Riverside. The District serves a large portion of Riverside as well as the unincorporated areas of Highgrove and Woodcrest. RUSD is led by its 12th Superintendent, Ms. Renee Hill and is governed by a Board of Education comprised of publicly elected officials who serve five different trustee areas.

~Personal Resume ~Copy of Unofficial transcripts verifying Bachelor's Degree conferral date (unofficial transcripts for application) *MUST HAVE A BACHELOR'S DEGREE TO APPLY FOR POSITION ~Copy of passing CBEST. If you have not passed the CBEST, another option to meet the Basic Skills Requirement is via course work. Transcripts must show passage in courses in: Reading, Writing and Math, passed with a grade of B or better, be degree applicable and be at least 3 semester units per Commission on Teacher Credentialing. ~Copy of 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit or Credential *RUSD RETIRED TEACHERS- Email Jewel Bundy, Substitute Teacher Desk/Credential Technician at jbundy@riversideunified.org before completing Edjoin application.

*If you do not have a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, RUSD will assist you with the process of obtaining the 30 Day Substitute Permit.
