Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services, leads and supports the development and implementation of early intervention and prevention programs, provides professional development and support in research-based strategies and intervention systems; assists in the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Support framework and supports site leaders to provide a coordinated and comprehensive Social Emotional Learning program including restorative justice practices, bullying prevention strategies and trauma-informed care, responsive to diverse learners including English Learners, Students with Disabilities, Low Income students, and Foster and Homeless Youth.
Requirements / Qualifications
California Administrative Services credential Hold a Pupil Personnel Services credential, (preferred) 5 years teaching and/or counseling and/or school psychologist experience 3 years leadership experience, (site administrator strongly preferred). Hold California driver’s license and can provide personal transportation during the work day. Have knowledge, experience and training in assisting and supporting children and their families (TK-12).
