Job Summary

Instruct students enrolled at the Lloyd P. Hance Community School to develop feelings of self-worth, attain self-discipline and accept personal responsibility in decision making; to become useful and accepted in the community, to improve academic skills and provide career and vocational awareness/education. The Lloyd P. Hance Community School offers a variety of different educational settings, including remote independent study, depending on the student’s needs and reason for attending. This position will serve in the 2024-25 School Year.

Education: • Hold or be eligible for a valid California Teaching Credential requiring a Bachelor’s degree. • Multiple subject authorization with CLAD Certification and passage of CSET is also qualifying. Experience: • Preference will be given to individuals with classroom experience in working directly with and training in the guidance of at-risk youth Application Process: To be considered for this position, the candidate must submit: • An online application • Cover Letter/Letter of Introduction • Resume • (2) Professional Letters of Recommendation
