EdJoin Application EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and four years of experience in general building maintenance work involving carpentry, plumbing, painting or mechanical maintenance work preferably including one year of lead or supervisory experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license. Must obtain certification as a Playground Safety Inspector by the National Playground Safety Institute within one year of employment with SCOE. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: DMV PN, Valid CA Driver’s License, Be insurable and maintain insurability, Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis Skin Test clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance Must be at least 18 years of age.

BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Principal of Outdoor Education plan, coordinate, participate in the operations and activities of personnel and outside contractors involved in the maintenance and alterations of buildings and grounds; lead and participate in the repair and maintenance of SCOE's vehicle fleet.
BENEFITS: A Benefit Entitlement for health, dental and vision coverage is available for positions that are at least 4 hours per day. The amount of the entitlement is based on the number of hours worked per day.
