Granada Hills Charter, the largest charter school in the nation, is an independent public school in the San Fernando Valley. A fiscally independent conversion charter school that opened in 2003, Granada Hills Charter has a current student enrollment of approximately 4,750 in its high school program and 1,300 students enrolled in its TK-8 program that opened in 2019. The combined annual wait list for the TK-8 and high school programs is nearly 4,000. The School’s student population is one of the most diverse, with more than 40 languages other than English spoken at home and over 60 nationalities represented. - California elementary teaching and/or counseling credential and a Master’s Degree from an accredited educational institution desired - Three – Five (3-5) years of elementary/middle school teaching experience - Evidence of knowledge of PYP/ MYP Frameworks, State Standards, State Frameworks, current teaching methodologies and delivery systems - EL Authorization - Experience in International Baccalaureate (IB) or willingness to teach IB courses desired
