Requirements / Qualifications
Please complete and submit application, include copies of the following: Transcripts (Showing your BA with date conferred), CBEST-or any option that meets the basic skills requirements for the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (optional), Up-to-date TB clearance (valid within the last 4 years), and if you hold a Credential or "Emergency 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit" please include a copy (if you do not hold a credential or permit, please include a statement stating if you are in process of obtaining one or need help doing so).
A valid Credential or "Emergency 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit" must be obtained before applicant can be approved for this position. If you're using your transcripts to show you've met the Basic Skills Requirement in lieu of the CBEST, you must attach a copy of your transcripts with the courses highlighted or marked that will be used to qualify you. Please refer to the CTC website for what coursework is needed to use this option.
