Position: School Psychologist Intern

General Responsibilities:
Under the immediate supervision of the school psychologist, the Psychologist intern will perform supervised individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and consultation/outreach; conduct psycho-educational evaluations for special education and Section 504 eligibility; conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and design appropriate behavior plans; work collaboratively with teachers, administrators and school counselor; consult with teachers and parents and facilitate Student Study team meetings as well as IEP and 504 meeting.

Training and Support:
Ongoing professional development will be provided through District offerings including but not limited to lead psychologist training and monthly Psychologist meetings.  Supervision will be provided by site school psychologist who has worked in a School Psychologist capacity in the District for a minimum of 2 years and in the field a minimum of 3 years.  Supervision will be provided a minimum of 2 hours per week per full time week and will be provided individually and/or in small group.

Letter of Introduction Three Letters of reference (one within the last 6 months) Must be able to pass FBI & DOJ finger print clearance Must be able to provide evidence of freedom from TB Must have intern agreement on file between College/University and LBUSD prior to intern placement.
