Job Summary

Job Summary

The Program Manager, System Improvement Support reports to the Director, Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Support and Advisory Services, Education Support Services (ESS) Branch and serves as additional technical support (also known as Differentiated Assistance) for charter schools and other Local Educational Agency (LEA) in San Bernardino County. This individual provides customized technical assistance and broad support of educational programs connected to eligible technical assistance student groups and indicators. In addition, this position may support in the development of LEA school plans including sharing knowledge and information with LEA leaders regarding Education Code statutes, California Department of Education (CDE) policies, California State Board of Education decisions and Federal statutes/requirements related to technical assistance; examples include, but are not limited, to the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), LCAP, California School Dashboard, and the California Common Core State Standards. The Program Manager – System Improvement Support collaborates with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS) Charter School office and serves on county, regional and state committees, as appropriate.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a Master’s degree in Education or a closely related field from an accredited institution; • Possession of a valid California Clear Administrative Services Credential; • Five (5) years of experience working as a site, charter, district, and/or county office of education administrator;
