Ocean Charter School (OCS) uses a Waldorf Educational approach to teach common core standards in a public school setting. We are accepting applications for a middle grades (6th - 8th) Spanish teaching position for the 2024-2025 school year. This person would be responsible for designing and delivering introductory Spanish lessons to four middle school classes each week (roughly 12 hours combined teaching and preparation time in grades 6, 7, and 8), as part of our World Languages program. We welcome teachers who are interested in arts-based, relationship-based, experiential teaching and learning to apply. OCS offers training as well as additional professional development opportunities, mentoring, and a supportive working environment to help our teachers bring inspired Waldorf-informed learning experiences to our students.
