Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to:
- Education: graduation from high school, supplemented by college-level coursework in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field AND
- Experience: three years of experience involving community service, social services, health services, public relations, or related field in an educational or health organization. Experience working in a Wellness/School Based Health Center preferred
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- A valid California driver's license.

THE POSITION
The Professional Learning & Support Division is currently accepting applications for Wellness Center Liaison.
Under general supervision, the Wellness Center Liaison serves as a liaison between Wellness Center, school site staff, district personnel, and parents; performs a variety of supportive and clerical tasks; promotes parent education and involvement in various Wellness Center programs and other activities; refers families to community-based and social services as appropriate; prepares and maintains related records and reports; performs related clerical duties as assigned.
This position is full-time, in-person, and has a work year of 11 months, 193 days, 8 hours per day, and is located at Mariano Castro Elementary School (500 Toft St, Mountain View, CA 94041).

- Following the final filing date, the qualifications of all candidates will be evaluated.
- The most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in a written exam, tentatively scheduled for February 15, 2024.
- Those who pass the written exam will be invited to participate in an oral examination with subject matter experts, tentatively scheduled for February 28, 2024.
- Based on the final scores of qualified candidates, Classified Personnel Services will establish a ranked candidate list.
- Selected candidates from the list will be invited to a second interview with the hiring authorities, tentatively scheduled for March 6, 2024.
- Candidates will be invited over email to participate in examination and selection steps, using the email supplied within their Governmentjobs.com applications, or as updated by candidates in their Governmentjobs.com master profiles. Therefore, it is recommended that candidates check their email at least daily.
