Requirements / Qualifications
EDCOE Special Service’s elementary school LEAD (Learning Emotional and Academic Determination) Program is looking for a highly collaborative teacher with an extensive support needs teaching credential to join our team at Silva Valley Elementary School. The LEAD program provides a therapeutic milieu of support and services that helps students experience success in school with a focus in academics, social-emotional and behavioral goals. Come join our team! Only 10 miles from the Sacramento County line.
Education: ~ Bachelor's degree ~ Valid CA Education Specialist credential Mild to Moderate Support Needs or Extensive Support Needs Experience: ~ One year in related teaching assignment preferred or enrollment in a Special Education teaching credential program ~ Work with students with disabilities preferred
