1. Possession of a valid California Single Subject Credential authorizing service in the specific foreign language other than English. 2. English Language Learner Authorization Certification. 3. Ability to connect with and motivate students. 4. Excellent oral and written communication skills. 5. Current knowledge of a variety of teaching strategies and professional practices. 6. Ability to use technology.
