Vista High School is seeking ASSISTANT FOOTBALL Coaches for the 2024-2025 school year. The school is a large comprehensive high school of nearly 1,900 students located six miles from the coast in beautiful north San Diego County. The school's athletic program has a long history of success and is hoping to continue its performance in Football. The Vista High School Football program is: *A member of San Diego County's Valley League competing against Escondido, Rancho Buena Vista, San Pasqual, Westview, Valley Center and Oceanside High Schools. *A complete program including freshman, junior varsity and varsity levels of competition. Support & responsibilities for an Assistant Football Coach includes: * Extra-duty salary compensation * Assist in Practice planning & game preparation * Assisting Issuing uniforms and equipment * Acting as a role model for integrity, hard work and Vista HS in all interactions on and off campus. * Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Athletic Director or Administration. The position requires the following qualifications: * At least three (3) years' experience in coaching high school Football. * The ability to establish and maintain a competitive tradition in a climate that supports student success with high student expectations. * The desire and ability to compete with area high schools in various CIF competitions including all CIF sanctioned games and playoffs.
