Job Summary

Job Summary

Collaborate with counseling and mental health services to coordinate support programs for students and develop and implement plans to address educationally related and mental health needs. Act as an advocate for implementation of effective services across multiple sites. Work closely with community agencies to access appropriate services for our students. Allocate 50% of the work week to Community Day School and dedicate the remaining 50% to Credence High School adapting strategies as needed for each setting. Implement a District-Wide Drug and Alcohol Cessation Program and organize and conduct group sessions to educate and support students in overcoming challenges related to nicotine, drug, and alcohol usage.

Requirements / Qualifications

1. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License. 2. Possession of a valid California Board of Behavioral Sciences License as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), an Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT) and/or a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT). * 3. Registration as an ASW, LCSW, ALMFT or MFT. * 4. Master’s Degree from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology and/or related field. 5. Minimum 2 years prior experience working in education, mental health, or a related field. 6. Crisis Management; 1 year (Preferred). 7. School Based Services; 2 years (Preferred). 8. Experience in Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) and Restorative Justice Strategies; (Preferred). 9. Experience with Cessation and Drug and Alcohol Prevention Programs. Letter of Introduction Three Current Letters of Recommendation - Must be within last three (3) months Resume Clear TB Test -Upon Hire Background Clearance - FBI/DOJ First Aid/CPR -Upon Hire

184 days per year/ 8 hours per day 180 school days, plus 4 scheduled staff development days 11 paychecks Aug-June Sick leave- earn 8 hours per month Does not accrue vacation Is allowed 2 floating holidays- Birthday/Admin Day Enrollment in CalPERS Retirement
