The District employs approximately 250 employees and is the 2nd largest employer in Winters. New program coming to Winters JUSD. 3- 8 hour positions (10am-6pm) 4-6 hour positions (anticipated hours 12pm-6pm) 4- 5 hour positions (anticipated hours 1pm-6pm) Positions will be at Waggoner Elementary and Rominger Intermediate Positions are eligible for CalPERS retirement, medical, dental, and vision insurance. Under the supervision of Site Administrator, ELP Coordinator, and the ELP Site Lead, the ELP Associate Teacher will prepare and implement ELP lessons. In coordination with the ELP Coordinator and Site Lead, this position will support the timely and accurate completion of grant paperwork and reporting.
Requirements / Qualifications
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Basic skills assessment, must satisfy one of the following: Pass an assessment provided by WJUSD that demonstrates knowledge of and the ability to assist in teaching reading, writing, and mathematics Completion of at least 48 semester units of study at an institution of higher education (college level) Associate’s (or higher) degree.
