We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructional Aide II, Culinary located at our campus in Temecula, CA. The Instructional Aide, II under the general supervision of the Instructional Dean and the direct lead of the Culinary Arts Faculty, serves as the entry-level assistant and provides direct assistance to students and instructors in the Culinary Arts Department Under professional academic/student supervision, the Instructional Aide II perform clerical, tutorial, and technical tasks relating and involved with students' educational and support services processes. This position is non-discipline specific, allowing incumbents to move from one position to another by meeting the minimum qualifications for experience and education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1) An Associate's degree (attach transcripts); AND 2) Three (3) years experience in the food service industry; AND 3) Current Food Handlers Card; AND 4) Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, and photograph*** SUBSTITUTIONS Substitutions for meeting the minimum qualifications for the college-level education requirement are allowed, as follows: Sixty (60) semester units of college-level study; AND three (3) classes (9 semester units minimum) in the discipline; OR or has one (1) year of related experience in the classification's typical activities, OR Credit instructional programs; AND two (2) years of related experience in the classification's typical activities may be substituted up to thirty (30) semester units, OR Career education instructional programs/disciplines; AND three (3) years of related experience may be substituted for up to sixty (60) semester units
