Requirements / Qualifications
- BA/BS in the following: Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, or related field. - Possess the appropriate California Teaching Permit or one of the following Child Development Permits: Teacher, Master Teacher, Site Supervisor, or Director Permit. - First Aid and Pediatric CPR Certification - At least two (2) years of experience working in a classroom setting or combination of two (2) years of experience in both classroom and group settings with young children and/or Head Start program. - Previous working experience with families in planning family goals and child educational goals desired. - Bilingual in Spanish; Cantonese; etc. desired - Experience with effective communication, working with teen parents in a multi-ethnic setting desired.
