Job Summary
This classification is different from a Maintenance Worker I classification by the fact that they are able to perform more complex projects requiring more skill; performing more specialized work independently and utilizing more technical knowledge. This position requires the incumbent to perform skilled craft or maintenance work in the maintenance, repair, construction, and upkeep of school buildings, facilities, and miscellaneous equipment, and to do other related work.

Position Information: This position works Tuesdays - Friday from 10 AM - 6:30 pm and on Saturday 7:30 am - 4 pm (40 hours per week) Employees receives: -12 vacation days -12 sick days - 3 Personal Necessity Days - 15 paid Holidays - 24 paycheck per year (paid 2 times per month) - Eligibility for Medical, Dental and Eye Coverage - CALPERS retirement Minimum Qualifications: • Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the performance of building maintenance • Any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. • School district experience, is preferred Application Packet: Interested applicants are required to submit the following: • Letter of Interest • Resume • Two (2) current reference letters • Copy of High school diploma or equivalent. • Copy of college transcripts and training certificates, as applicable.
