RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision, provide secretarial and administrative support to the Principal of an elementary school by performing a wide variety of responsible clerical duties and work assignments. May direct duties of, and work cooperatively with, other clerical staff. SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE: Administrative and Clerical Under general supervision provide secretarial, reception and administrative support to Elementary Principal and site. These duties may include: • Provide clerical and administrative support to Principal, teachers, PTA, etc.; • Prepare materials used at sites, such as rosters, bulletins, letters, schedules, certificates for activities that happen at schools; • Manage mail, site postings and notifications, marque, etc.; • Provide front office reception and assistance to parents/families, students and general public Compliance Data/Reports/Training • Report necessary school wide enrollment data to Registration Services; • Assist in the administration of federal testing as assigned (CAASPP) which may include training administrators and proctors, scheduling testing, and determining test administrators for students with accommodations. Accounting, Orders and Budget • Prepare labor vouchers, monthly absence reports, stores and purchase orders, maintenance requisitions and management of site budget; • Order, distribute and inventory instructional materials including text books, office and classroom supplies, teaching aides and PE equipment • Reconcile site funds, petty cash, deposits for field trips, after school activities, camps, etc.
