Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent or Preschool Coordinator, plan, organize and implement approved developmentally appropriate curriculum for children enrolled in the Weaver Preschool program; provide a safe and nurturing environment conducive to the growth and development of children. Qualifications • AA degree with a major or emphasis in ECE/Family and Consumer Science and at least two (2) years of teaching experience in a licensed daycare center or comparable group childcare program. Enrollment in a college program leading to a Bachelor’s degree is required with a minimum of six (6) units to be completed per year. • Bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in ECE or related field • Valid Child Center Permit or comparable credential • Valid First Aid and CPR certificates issued by an authorized agency • Bilingual Spanish/Hmong preferred
