Lewis Middle School has one full-time (1.0 FTE), 10-month School Counselor Vacancy. The School Counselor will work on a team of three to support 965 students at Lewis Middle School. School Counselor needs understanding and experience in the development and implementation of the ASCA model. School Counselor will provide a combination of direct and indirect services. School Counselor will play a role on improvement efforts of student attendance, and the implementation of Restorative Practices at the school. School Counselor will collaborate and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including parents, students, and staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have: (1) A valid California school counselor credential (2) Experience in school counseling. highly preferred. Applicant's credential must be attached to their application and registered with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing by the close of the posting. Applicants must have a valid California driver’s license and be prepared to conduct, participate in, and travel to sites, professional development sessions, workshops, and meetings.
