Job Summary
Under the direction of the Supervisor - Central Kitchen Production, assist in all phases of food production in Central Kitchen Operations, with primary focus in large-quantity cooking of main dishes, vegetables, fruits and salads; assist in the receiving, storing, preparing, selling and serving of foods in a school cafeteria in accordance with prescribed menus, established procedures, and safe food-handling practices; utilize specialized machines in the quantity packaging of food items; maintain kitchen facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition.
