Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, drive a school bus to transport students safely and efficiently to an assigned location on a designated route; perform mechanical checks, regular safety inspections and general maintenance duties.
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates must possess and submit the following: 1) Proof of a HS diploma or equivalent; and 2) Class A or B California Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement; and 3) Valid First Aid Certificate or endorsement by the CHP
Three positions are available immediately, two others are forthcoming vacancies. Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered for an available position. Successful candidates for full-time positions will be required to enroll in one of the District's health insurance programs. Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI and proof of being cleared of Tuberculosis are required prior to starting employment.
