Job Summary
Job Summary
The Program Manager, Student Services, is responsible for managing state and federal programs for the Student Services Branch; providing fiscal oversight of the consolidated application programs; monitoring compliance with policies and legal requirements; developing Local Education Agency (LEA) plans; coordinating and implementing programs related to educational services, assessment, curriculum, and professional development; and managing services for alternative and special education programs. This position will monitor all data submitted to the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS) and Special Education Local Plan Areas (SELPA) student information systems.
Requirements / Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential; • Possession of a master’s degree in education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution; • Three (3) years of administrative experience at a county, regional, or district level in Alternative Education or Special Education; • Three (3) years of administrative experience managing Federal Programs, such as Title I and IV.
