Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified teacher to support our students at Heritage Peak Charter-West Sacramento TK-12th grade. This is an in person position Monday-Friday. Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel in order to meet the needs of our families. Flexibility in using a variety of instructional modalities including hybrid and virtual based out of our West Sacramento site is instrumental.
Requirements / Qualifications
Possess and maintain valid California Teaching Credential for level of instruction English Learner authorization Experience and knowledge of the Common Core standards and standards based curriculum, behavior management techniques, record keeping, student assessment, planning for individual student learning needs, and child development
Letter of Introduction Resume Letters of Recommendation (3) Transcripts (unofficial acceptable) TB clearance (upon hire)

Candidates must also demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit and be able to deliver differentiated instruction to a diverse group of students.
Pacific Charter Institute offers a unique instructional model serving homeschool and independent study students across 16 counties through Heritage Peak Charter School, Rio Valley Charter School, Valley View Charter Prep, Sutter Peak Charter Academy, and New Pacific Charter-Roseville.
