Job Summary
This position is for a 1:1 instructional assistant for a kindergarten student in a full inclusion model. The assistant will be responsible for shadowing the student, collaborating with IEP team to implement IEP, and assist with toileting. Experience with AAC and/or sign language preferred. Approximately 30 hours/weekly.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications: Relevant successful experience in a paid or non-paid position working with school aged children; minimum of two (2) years. Be skilled at or be willing to be trained in inquiry-based teaching practices. Interest in OCASA’s innovative model of public charter education and commitment to the school’s success. Adaptable and flexible. Candidates must be willing to embrace change with open arms. Commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to communicate effectively. Outstanding organizational skills.
