Job Summary
Under general administrative direction, serve as the department-level manager of the Business Services Department of the Hayward Unified School District; render advice and consultation to District executive-level management and, upon request, to the Board of Education on accounting, finance, budget, purchasing, investment of surplus funds, and information technology; assist the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, as directed.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to two years of managerial-level experience and completion of college-level course-work leading to a bachelor's degree in public administration or a field which is closely related to the work of Business Services. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class C driver's license and a safe driving record. Incumbent will be involved in field work which requires travel in personal vehicle to various sites.
