Behavior Intervention Implementation (BII) Provide proactive and meaningful one to one support for students with special needs or behavioral difficulties. Essential Functions and Job Duties: -Demonstrate an understanding, patient, receptive attitude toward students of varied age groups and varied disabilities. -Maintain appropriate documentation, records and reports, including Monthly Service Log. -Assists teachers in carrying out positive reinforcement procedures and reactive strategies identified in the behavior support plan, such as prompting students to switch to functionally equivalent replacement behavior and debriefing during the school day. Preferred Qualifications: -High School Diploma or equivalent; -Minimum of one (1) year working with children with special needs, preferably more; -Interest in working with students with special needs in the educational setting; -Emotional maturity necessary for working with students with behavioral challenges.
