Job Summary

The Lawndale Elementary School District is looking for five full-time TK Early Education Support Providers for five of our Elementary Schools. These positions are 10-month (school year), 6.5 hours/day positions. Employees accumulate one paid vacation and one sick day per month of employment. In addition, Lawndale ESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. Requirements / Qualifications

The schedule for these positions will be Monday - Friday 8 am - 3 pm (includes 30 min lunch). This position will be assigned to Lucille Smith Elementary School. ***Please note, that site location and schedule are subject to change at any time.

Application Requirements - Resume - High School Degree, GED, or higher education - 48 units or an Associates (or greater) degree from an accredited college/university is required. A minimum of 12 semester units in Early Child Development or Early Childhood Education to be included in the degree or in addition to. - Experience in working with school-age children in an organized setting is desirable. Edjoin applications or Reassignment Request forms (current employees) submitted without the required attachments will NOT BE ACCEPTED and will not be invited to the written exam. Applicants must take and pass the corresponding written test for this position with a score of 70% or better to be considered for an interview.

  • Copy of Transcript (48 units or Associate degree with min. 12 units in Early Child Dev. or Early Child Edu. included in degree or addition to)
  • Proof of HS Graduation
  • Resume
