Job Summary
Under direction of the site administration, the Athletic Director is to provide each student enrolled in a sport an opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity that will foster physical skills, a sense of worth and competence, a knowledge and understanding of the pleasure of sport, and the principles of fair play. Additional other duties as assigned related to emergency, crisis and/or pandemic.
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: CPR and 1st Aid Certificate (NO ONLINE CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED. SRCS only accepts American Red Cross, American Heart Association or National Safety Council.) Coaches Ed. Class- Fundamentals of Coaching Concussion Certificate Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate Heat Illness Certification Mandated Reporter - School Personnel Certification Proof of clear TB 2 letters of Recommendation Experience working at a school and school systems Desired: Familiar with SPORTS NET and Grade checking Ability to Provide a learning environment that allows for individual differences and respect for the dignity and worth of each student; promote and encourage a positive and nurturing learning environment.
