Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Computer Science Project Specialist will assist with providing strategic planning, guidance, and professional learning support for San Bernardino County Schools in the field of computer science education. The primary responsibility for this position will be to assist with the facilitation of state-wide grant-funded computer science projects. This position will also assist Digital Learning Services team to accomplish pre-established county and state-wide computer science objectives. To succeed in this role, one must possess a solid foundation in computer science education, digital learning and project management, and have exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California credential that authorizes the teaching of Computer Sciences; • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution; • Three (3) years of professional computer science and/or digital learning related coaching experience; • Two (2) years of experience performing district or county-level leadership duties; • Experience providing computer science staff development.
