Job Summary

Under the direction of the CBO, or designee, organizes, directs, supervises, performs, and reviews various tasks related to the fiscal and personnel operations of the Santa Ynez Valley Union High School District. Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs and policies for staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, conducts recruitment and selection activities; enters and maintains digital and hardcopy employee records and personnel transaction processing. Assists the CBO in assuring compliance with applicable Education Codes and State and federal regulation; trains and manages assigned personnel. Conducts research on and supports the collective bargaining process.

          Comments and Other Information

          A two-year degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources or closely related field, 5 years’ experience in a responsible position in a school district or any demonstratable equivalent in work experience and education. A four-year degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources from an accredited college or university preferred.
