Introduction: Founded in 1990, the Daly City Youth Health Center (DCYHC) is a community wellness center with the mission to provide safe, respectful, comprehensive health services and education to underserved teens and young adults, preparing them for a healthy adulthood. The Daly City Youth Health Center is a collaborative program of the Jefferson Union High School District (JUHSD) and the San Mateo County Medical Center. DCYHC provides primary medical care, mental health counseling, health education, and vocational counseling to adolescents and young adults ages 12-24 to enable them to become healthy, responsible and productive adults. This position is located at Daly City Youth Health Center and would work 20 hours per week.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications •Master's Degree in Psychology or Social Work. •Licensed Marriage & Family Counselor, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. •Licensed to supervise trainees, interns that are working towards their licensure. •Experience working with at-risk youth and young adults •Able to work with clients that present Mild/Moderate as well as Severe Mental Illness (SMI). •Letter of Introduction •Resumé •Two [3] Current Letters of Reference, two [2] years old or less and at least one [1] from a recent supervisor Please submit a Letter of Introduction (discuss how your training and experience will serve you in this position), Resumé and three [3] current Letters of Reference (two [2] years or less and one [1] from recent supervisor) to your EdJoin account.
