Job Summary
The Transitional Kindergarten Teacher provides developmentally appropriate learning experiences for students to assist them in transitioning to kindergarten. Adapts and modifies the kindergarten curriculum by developing lesson plans, instructional materials, and teaching methods to meet the needs of the TK students.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Valid California Multiple Subject Credential * BCLAD * at least 24 units in early childhood education or child development, or both * Letter of Introduction * Current Resume * Three Letters of Reference (Must be within last two years including one from a supervisor) FAILURE TO PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED MATERIALS MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FROM THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Employment with the Pajaro Valley Unified School District is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements, including Board of Trustee approval. As part of the selection process, all new employees are required to provide the following information: new employees must be fingerprinted (paid by the District); TB test (paid by the employee); social security card; picture identification; and authorization to work (I-9).
