The Coordinator, Educational Technology is responsible for planning, coordinating and promoting the development and implementation of instructional technology programs that facilitate the improvement of the general curriculum and educational climate related to educational technology for the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) and district stakeholders; and coordinating complex assignments and projects as assigned in support of county-wide educational technology programs.</p> <p>This position is full-time and will offer the certificated management benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalSTRS state retirement system.</p>
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY

The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) focuses on technology integration into the curriculum that transforms educational systems, grounding professional development in pedagogical practices that teachers and administrators can take back to their classrooms to support students. SDCOE staff members work with districts and schools to help educators try new practices that combine the latest technology, educational standards, and goals.
This position requires a combination equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in education, educational technology, or related area, and five (5) years experience teaching in K-12 educational setting using educational technology-infused instructional methods. Experience must include delivering presentations to small and large groups on educational technology topics.
Certificates, Licenses, Credentials:
- Valid California Administrative Services Credential
- Valid California Teaching Credential
