What you bring: - Completion of 10th grade or equivalent - Valid California Class B License or Permit - Valid Commercial Medical Certificate - Valid First Aid certification (Red Cross, EMSA or CHP) - Certified DMV Record completed within last 30 days. To obtain this submit Request for Own Driver License/Identification Card or Vehicle/Vessel Registration Record to DMV and be sure to check - the box at the top to "Certify the record as a true copy of record". Click this link to obtain the form: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/forms/inf/inf1125. - Successful completion of San José Unified van driving training program (you may be invited to participate after submitting your application) - FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration at https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/ - Spanish bilingual is preferred - Note: Special Driving Certificate to drive a Type 1 school bus with an automatic transmission must be obtained within six (6) months of hire When will you hear back from us: Within seven days of applying, we will inform you if you will be moving forward in our hiring process and share next steps.
