Job Summary
The Community Assistant I will promote communication and cooperation between the school and members of the community. The following full-time (40 hour per week) opportunities are available: Riley New Dawn, 10 months per year (bilingual preferred) Website: https://riley.sandiegounified.org/new_dawn_high_school San Diego High School, 11 months per year Website: https://www.sdhs.sandiegounified.org/ Position Schedule (for any future vacancies): Positions in this classification typically work 10, or 11 months of the year. Set schedules for positions in this classification might vary but are typically greater than 20 hours per week. Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District Paid health and wellness benefits for employees and dependents. Some positions within this classification may require the incumbent to be Bilingual in English/Spanish. Candidates considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. Bilingual positions qualify for a 5% bilingual differential.
