Requirements / Qualifications

Under the direction of an Administrator, candidate performs advanced-level secretarial and routine administrative duties; plan, organize and coordinate office activities to relieve the Administrator of administrative and clerical details; assure efficient and timely completion of office and program projects and activities. Qualifications: Candidate must be a high school graduate, supplemented by coursework in business, secretarial science, or have at least four (4) years of increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical office experience, including at least one year in a school environment. Candidate must demonstrate high proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace tools. Experience in advanced MS Excel formulas, webpage design/maintenance, and familiarity with online tools and license management is preferred. This position requires typing at 65 wpm. Candidate must have knowledge of organization, rules, regulations, and programs related to school offices, and familiarity with school office terminology, practices, and procedure. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation and vocabulary, as well as good oral and written communication skills are essential. Good interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are needed.
