Job Summary
Under general supervison, supervise the work of a crew of trades staff installing, maintainin and repairing plumbing-related systems and equipment. JOB RELATIONSHIPS: This class is distinguished from subordinate skilled trade classification such as Plumber by supervisory duties and the coordination of the work of trades performing plumbing and related repairs and installations.
Requirements / Qualifications
Any combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to graducation from high school or successful completion of a general education (GED) program; supplemented by training courses in plumbing and four years of journey-level plumbing experience or completion of recognized plumbing apprenticeship program and two-years journey level plumbing experience. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a California Class C driver's license. Possession of licensing required for the journey level plumbing trade. Possession of hilti gun, and asbestos handling certificate, which may be obtained during the first four months of employment.
