Incarnation Parish School is a Pre-K to 8th elementary school serving the parishioners of Incarnation Church, the City of Glendale, and the foothill communities. Incarnation Parish School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part Time Music Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The Part Time Music Teacher works 2 school days a week. Incarnation’s mission is to provide a challenging education centered in the Catholic faith with high expectations in character formation, academic achievement, moral development, and positive relationships with others through faith, excellence, and community. The ideal candidate shares the school’s mission and core beliefs; utilizes core instructional practices to implement a rigorous standardized curriculum; reflects on formative and summative data to guide instruction and student supports; effectively communicates with parents and collaborates with teachers and administrators; creatively integrates technology into the curriculum; has experience planning liturgies, Masses, and concerts; and is dedicated to the pastoral values and evangelical mission of the Church. The Music teacher at Incarnation is primarily responsible for TK-8 Music instruction. Ideal candidates will be able to meet the learning needs of a talented and diverse student body across the entire TK-8 curriculum. The Music Teacher collaborates with homeroom teachers and other specials.
