Valid California teaching credential, valid California driver's license, and verifiable classroom teaching experience at the highly effective or skillful performance level are required. Master's degree is desirable.

Comments and Other Information
ABLE seeks instructional coaches to support teachers with the implementation of the instructional model, employees who work well as members of a collaborative team. Grade span assignments will be made after hiring from among elementary (TK-4), middle school (5-8), and high school (9-12). The instructional coach builds teacher capacity and understanding of instructional practices as related to Common Core State Standards (CCSS), data-driven instruction, and the ABLE instructional model. The instructional coach models continuous improvement, lifelong learning, and goes above and beyond to ensure student success. The instructional coach works collaboratively as part of a team, promotes reflection, provides guidance and structure, and focuses on strengths, collaboration, and common challenges. The instructional coach strives to ensure high-quality instruction in classrooms through modeling, co-planning, co-teaching, and providing feedback to teachers.
