EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to a Master’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, and/or related field. At least three (3) years of successful experience providing full-time public-school certificated service in education working with students with behavioral needs implementing positive behavior intervention and supports. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Education Specialist, Single or Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, or Pupil Personnel Services Credential authorizing any of the following: School Counseling, School Social Work, and School Psychology. • Must be able to become certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) in non-violent crisis intervention. • Valid California driver's license. • Valid Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) certification, desirable. • Bilingual/Biliterate (English/Spanish) desirable.
