QUALIFICATIONS: * Master’s Degree in Social Work - preferred * Be certified or have valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with School Social Work authorization * Possess valid California Driver's License * Bilingual ability preferred Education and experience * Must have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field. * Must hold a CA Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential. PPSC in School Social Work is listed as a minimum qualification, but candidates with an MSW and who don't have a PPSC yet can work as a SSW in SFUSD if they are enrolled in a PPSC Program and HR is able to get a waiver from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.' * Minimum of two years experience in school social work, school counseling, or related field
