$61,399 to $109,561 per year depending upon education and experience (2022 - 2023 Salary Schedule); $1,000 stipend for MA, $1,000 Stipend for DR; $2,000 stipend for TOSA position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance.

This is a 7-hours per day, 200-days per school year position.

Requirements / Qualifications

A BA/BS degree in a related field is required. Successful teaching in Special Education classrooms and alternative settings, serving students in Early Childhood Special Education and students with Moderate to Severe disabilities; experience at multiple grade levels preferred. Demonstrated successful scholastic attainment, classroom performance and professionalism. Possess or qualify for a valid California Special Education Teaching Credential appropriate for the assignment. Possess a valid California driver license and maintain insurability. Must be able to provide your own reliable transportation to work sites within Kings County. Transport students from time to time as required, in a county office vehicle. Participate in random alcohol and controlled substances testing as delineated in Superintendent Policy 4112.42, 4212.42, 4312.42 and Administrative Regulation 4112.42, 4212.42 and 4312.42.
