DO NOT CONTACT OR EMAIL DOCUMENTS to Human Resources regarding this posting, as it may slow down our process. Requirements for Applying, All of the documents specified below must be attached to your application in order to be considered for employment. If you have not attached all the required documentation you will not receive an email invitation to pick up the substitute teacher hiring packet. Materials - Online application through edjoin.org - Current valid California teaching credential or 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit. - Copy of unofficial transcripts (BA/BS degree; copies of front and back) - California Basic Education Skills Test (CBEST) verification - Verification of "Clearing House" fingerprints through Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE). If you have not completed the fingerprints through VCOE, please contact them at 805-383-1914 for fees and attach copy of receipt. If you do not have a copy of your receipt please attach a word document with the date you had your fingerprints taken for subbing, our office will verify your clearance with the date you provide. **Please note, this is NOT the same live scan as the Certificate of Clearance from CTC** - Tuberculosis (TB) test verification (no more than 4 years old) - Resume Upon being hired as a Substitute Teacher you will be asked to complete the Mandated Reporter Training, Preventing Sexual Harassment Training, Recognizing and Preventing Youth Suicide Training, Bloodborne Safety Training and Sexual Misconduct in Schools courses through Target Solutions.
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CREDENTIAL AND NEED TO APPLY FOR A 30-DAY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER PERMIT, YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT VCOE (Ventura County Office of Education)at (805)383-1934. In order to be placed on our sub-list you MUST ALREADY HAVE a valid credential or 30-day sub permit.

- TB Screening Result (TB has to be within the last 4 years)
